Covid-19 Update Nepal: 03 April 2020

In Nepal there are 6 persons that have tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
One person has recovered, while five persons are undergoing treatment.
There has not been any deaths related to the Covid-19 virus.

As a precautionary measure, the Nepalese Government has announced the following measures mentioned below:
• Visa: The government of Nepal has suspended visa upon arrival for nationals from any country until April 30, 2020. Those travelers already possessing a prior valid Nepali visa will be required to submit a swab test PCR health certificate issued a maximum of seven (7) days before arrival to Nepal to the immigration office at Tribhuvan International Airport. • Flight Suspension: The Nepal government has suspended all regular international and domestic flights until April 15, 2020.
