Then, our adventure takes us to a glimpse of Nepal’s ‘middle hills’ as we travel across country to the lake-side town of Pokhara. Here, with the snow-capped peaks of the Annapurnas reflected in the waters of Phewa Tal, we can begin to understand the sheer scale and magnificence of the Nepal Himalaya. As you fly into Kathmandu, you'll have beautiful views over the valley, the Himalayas, and of the terraced fields below. After going through customs, our guide will be waiting to lead you through Kathmandu’s streets and get you settled into your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the Unesco world heritage site of Patan, known as the old city of artists and artisans. Hotel - Meals: None
Visit Bhaktapur, one of the ancient cities in the Kathmandu Valley and it has remained the most medieval. Take a full day walking tour here. Later, visit Boudhanath, the country's biggest Buddhist stupa. Hotel - Meals: Breakfast
This morning, enjoy a drive through the foothills of the himalayas (7hr) the lake town of Pokhara. Pokhara is one of the most picturesque natural valleys in Nepal. Upon arrival, enjoy a boating experience on the lake. Also, visit the Peace Pagoda which overlooks the Phewa Lake. One can see the Himalayas such as Fishtail, Annapurna from this lake town. Set off early to Sarankot to witness the spectacular sunrise and capture breathtaking view of Mt Fishtail. Watch in wonder as the colors dance over the top of the mountains, displaying nature in its truest form. Return to your hotel for breakfast before embarking on a half-day sightseeing tour of Pokhara Valley, During your tour, visit the International Mountain Museum & Gurkha Museum. Today, make your way back (7hr drive) to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check into to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for self exploration & visiting the colorful hub of Kathmandu like a local. Hotel - Meals: Breakfast
